Meet the staff of PA-HomeCare...
Shawn and Kathy Spence, Co-Owners
Shawn is a graduate of Colorado State and Kathy attended Franklin & Marshall and HACC. Our blended family consists of five daughters, one son, three granddaughters and a grandson. We have been providing home care beyond compare to seniors and others in the Lancaster County area for over a decade. Sharing a commitment to community involvement, we are also active members of Grace Community Church of Willow Street where Shawn has served in various capacities including Chair of the Church Council for six years and leads the men's group Knights of the 21st Century. Kathy has been active with the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" drive for Heart health as well as serving on the board and in leadership with the Lancaster South Rotary Club. PA Home Care of Lancaster has worked in affiliation with the Alzheimer's Association to sponsor a monthly Alzheimer's/Dementia Community Education Group, free to anyone in the community who wants to learn and connect with others on this topic. Intent on making life easier in home care service, we are proud to provide Quality Care Assistants that exemplify "With Hearts and Hands, We Care." We'll help you or your loved one to age in place, safely, at home.
Melanie Ianniello, Staffing and Recruitment
Lancaster County is home to a thriving senior population. Many seniors want to maintain their independence as long as possible by aging in place. My professional mission is to help people accomplish that goal safely by facilitating quality, in-home care services. I am proud to be a part of company that helps people in need, and I see firsthand how our work enriches people's lives while relieving some of their burden.
When I am not pouring over staffing and recruitment methodologies, I enjoy skating. I played roller derby and ice hockey with local teams for over 10 years. During my time with the Dutchland Derby Rollers, I served as League President for 2 years while serving on our league Board of Directors for over 5 years. During my time with Reapers Ice Hockey, I served as Vice President for 2 years. I attended Millersville University and graduated with honors in 2009.
Michelle Reinhart, Billing and Payroll Co-Ordinator
I was born and raised in Lancaster County, and have lived here all my life. I have two wonderful children who keep me very busy! I have coached youth soccer for over 10 years with PMSC. I also volunteered within the Soccer club, doing everything from painting lines on the fields, to placing teams, attending meetings, and holding position as President of the club for over 2 years. I enjoy working with our caregivers. It is rewarding for me to help those who are out in the field making a difference in so many of our neighbors' lives. I also enjoy working with and speaking to our clients. It is such a blessing to have the opportunity to make someone else's life a little easier. My main role at PA Home Care of Lancaster is to take care of all the billing and payroll needs. Although I also help to run the day to day operations at the office.
Suzanne Kennedy, RN
I am a 1994 graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing and in 2006 obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Eastern Mennonite University. I am married to my husband Mike, and we have two grown children and five amazing grandchildren. I have 20+ years of work experience in community health and home care nursing. It is my passion to provide holistic care to the elderly, serve as an advocate, and offer support so that they can maintain their independence and age in their homes for as long as possible. I view each day as an opportunity to positively impact our clients' lives and it is a privilege to be part of the PA Home Care team.
Lynn Greiner, Human Resources
I have lived in Lancaster County my entire life. In fact, I took piano lessons as a young girl in the house that is now the PA Home Care office! My husband Bruce and I have been married for over 30 years and we have one son, Kyle. We also have a cat, Richard. On my days off we enjoy going to antique stores and flea markets to look for old Pennsylvania bottles which my husband collects. I love to cook, read, and work on crossword puzzles. I graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Business. This took me to managing a retail shop for many years. In early 2013, the opportunity presented itself to switch career paths and I began caregiving for PA Home Care. I will continue to provide care to our wonderful clients for as long as my work in the office allows. Helping the elderly stay in their homes is a most rewarding feeling. The people I provide care for are so appreciative and thankful for everything I do for them. It is a joy to go to work every day and know you made a difference in someone's day.
